Engineering Manager - Audio - West Sussex

Our client is a national leader in the production of Audio Technology and they are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a talented team working on cutting-edge transducer and acoustic technologies.

This is an opportunity to lead teams that blend advanced acoustic engineering, industrial design, and digital technology to craft some of the finest loudspeakers and audio systems used in homes, studios, and luxury cars worldwide.

Role Requirements:

• Lead a diverse engineering team, cultivating an environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and ongoing growth
• Oversee projects in audio systems design
• Partner with cross-functional teams (R&D, Product, Manufacturing) to oversee projects from conception through to commissioning
• Develop talent, succession planning, and team improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience managing engineering teams (audio, acoustics, automotive speakers, structural mechanics, electrical engineering)
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Working knowledge of simulation tools for acoustic or audio applications
• Experienced in explaining engineering and technical concepts to stakeholders
