Salary: $120,000–$600,000 + Equity (DOE)

My client, an innovative AI hardware company, is looking for a Bluespec Design Engineer to help develop next-generation silicon for high-performance Generative AI. This is a unique opportunity for engineers with strong Haskell experience to transition into hardware design using Bluespec, with full support and training provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop production-quality silicon for compute, memory, and high-speed connectivity
• Design reusable Bluespec libraries for scalable hardware development
• Contribute to hardware architecture and design optimisation
• Build tooling to improve hardware/software development workflows
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-performance solutions

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Bluespec/similar and functional programming concepts
• Excellent software engineering fundamentals and coding practices
• Experience with version control, build systems, and CI workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable Skills

• RTL design experience
• Production experience with Rust
• Understanding of digital hardware concepts and computer architecture
