My client, a fast-growing AI infrastructure startup backed by leading investors, is looking for a Business Operations Generalist to work directly with the founders and Chief of Staff. This is a broad, high-impact role for an early-career operator with consulting and startup experience, offering exposure to strategy, finance, hiring, marketing and company-wide projects.

Key Responsibilities
•    Manage hiring operations, recruitment coordination, feedback tracking, work trials and onboarding
•    Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including payroll, expenses, invoices and vendor payments
•    Drive cross-functional projects, translating ambiguous business challenges into actionable recommendations and scalable processes
•    Create external-facing content, including case studies, blog posts and partnership announcements
•    Organise company events, community gatherings and team offsites
•    Support wider business operations and special projects for the founders
•    Use AI tools to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency

Requirements
•    3–4 years' experience, including around 2 years in management consulting and 1–2 years in business operations or strategy at an early-stage startup
•    Experience taking ambiguous projects from problem definition through implementation
•    Excellent organisation, attention to detail and prioritisation skills
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a writing sample available
•    High initiative, sound judgement and the ability to work independently
•    Comfortable switching between strategic projects and hands-on operational tasks

Desirable
•    Experience using AI to automate workflows
•    Experience building and scaling operational processes from scratch
•    Familiarity with technical teams or the ability to grasp technical concepts quickly
•    Confidence working with senior leadership and challenging assumptions constructively
