Your Role:
As a Channel Manager, you will be instrumental in driving growth through channel partnerships. You will:
Recruit New Partners: Identify and onboard high-potential channel partners to ensure profitable growth.
Develop Channel Strategy: Define and implement strategies to optimize partner revenue and market penetration.
Manage Partner Relationships: Build strong relationships by providing the necessary tools, training, and support to ensure success.
Sales Enablement: Design and execute channel sales programs, incentives, and marketing initiatives.
Monitor Performance: Track and analyze partner sales performance, identifying opportunities for growth.
Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product management, to align channel strategies with company goals.
Contract Negotiation: Manage partner agreements, pricing structures, and incentive programs.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market demands to provide actionable insights.
What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day:
- Recruiting and onboarding new partners.
- Identifying and exploring new markets and verticals.
- Managing partner relations and performance reviews.
- Developing partner propositions and refining the channel structure.
- Coordinating with sales and marketing for lead generation and partner enablement.
- Scoping and building a team to scale operations as partner traction and revenue grow.
- Traveling internationally (approximately 30% of the time) to meet and recruit new partners.
What You Need to Succeed:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Telecommunications (preferred).
Experience:
- 10+ years of channel management experience.
- Strong understanding of channel sales models and partner ecosystems.
- Experience in B2B technology and telecommunications, with channel experience in mobile computing devices or land mobile radio being a plus.
- Proven ability to develop and execute channel strategies and work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Hunter mentality with the ability to engage partner executives and demonstrate business value.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience in mission-critical telecommunications and land mobile radio.
- Knowledge of mobile computing smartphone devices for B2B channels.
