London (On-Site) – Electronics Engineer

A well-established scientific technology company is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their dynamic R&D team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex, high-precision instrumentation used across a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, materials science, and environmental technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and development of analogue, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits
• Developing PCB layouts and multi-layer board designs using industry-standard tools
• Using Embedded firmware development in C/C++ for microcontroller-based systems (e.g. STM32)
• Interfacing with transducers, sensors, and bus-controlled devices (I2C, SPI, USB, TCP/IP, Bluetooth)

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller platforms
• Experience in using ADC/DAC components in low-noise, high-precision applications
• Eembedded C/C++, IAR IDE, and scripting in Python

Desired Relevant Skills:

• Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems and formal design documentation
• Exposure to risk assessments and regulatory compliance (safety, EMC, CE, etc.)
• Understanding of instrumentation systems and their integration with sensors
