Embedded Software Engineer - London
£35,000-£80,000 + equity

I’m working with an exciting technology company developing advanced autonomous systems for a rapidly growing industry.

They’re looking for junior and mid-level Embedded Software Engineers to join a highly technical, multidisciplinary engineering team.

There are opportunities across different areas of embedded software, so the exact focus will depend on your experience and interests.

The role:

• Develop software for complex embedded systems
• Work across low-level software, embedded Linux and/or real-time systems
• Develop reliable and robust software for distributed systems
• Support hardware bring-up, integration and testing
• Debug and optimise software performance
• Work closely with hardware, systems and other software engineers
• Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making

Looking for:

• Strong C++ experience
• Commercial embedded software experience
• Experience with Linux and/or RTOS
• Low-level Linux experience, kernel, driver, or bootloader development desirable
• Networking or communication protocols desirable
• Any RTOS experience
