Are you an experienced Systems Engineer with a background in Integration, Verification & Validation (IVVQ)? Join a leading marine mission systems company and play a key role in developing cutting-edge maritime technology. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment while contributing to mission-critical defence and marine systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Evaluation: Assist in analyzing and validating customer requirements.
- Systems Documentation: Contribute to the creation of system specs and technical documentation.
- Project Management: Develop project plans, test plans, cost estimates, and task schedules.
- Integration & Testing: Create test specifications, conduct system tests, and participate in peer reviews.
- Verification & Validation: Execute software and system IVVQ processes, including customer acceptance tests (FAT, HAT, SAT).
- Debugging & Root Cause Analysis: Work closely with systems and software engineers to resolve issues.
- Configuration & Maintenance: Support system repair, configuration, and customer equipment testing.
Required Experience:
- Proven IVVQ experience, including test planning and execution.
- Strong knowledge of PC-based systems, networks, and troubleshooting.
- Experience using DOORS, SVN, JIRA, MS Office, and Visio.
- Familiarity with Agile development (SCRUM methodology).
Desirable Skills:
- Understanding of system development principles & best practices.
- Experience with publish-subscribe middleware architectures (e.g., DDS).
- Hands-on experience configuring and testing network infrastructure (switching, routing, VLANs, encryption, VMs).
- Ability to develop test automation utilities in Python.
- Knowledge of marine electronics systems (radar, navigation, steering controls).
- Understanding of naval systems integration standards.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification (preferred).
