Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge special purpose machinery?

Our client is a leading manufacturer of precision-engineered machinery, developing custom solutions from R&D through to on-site commissioning. As part of their expanding design team, they are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in 3D CAD, prototyping, and mechanical product development.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Use 3D CAD software to design and develop new machinery
+ Build and test prototypes in the workshop
+ Design and implement practical test procedures
+ Produce and maintain technical documentation
+ Provide technical leadership within the design team

Key Requirements:
+ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
+ Strong 3D CAD skills (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor)
+ Ability to produce detailed manufacturing drawings
+ Experience in designing special purpose machinery or industrial equipment
+ Knowledge of fabrication, machining, and assembly techniques
+ Hands-on approach with practical workshop skills
