Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for designing high speed special purpose machinery? Platform is working with a leading manufacturer specialising in the development of production line machinery, delivering cutting-edge solutions for high-tech industries. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on end-to-end product development, from client brief through to onsite installation.

Key Responsibilities:
+ 3D CAD design
+ Prototype, test, and validate designs
+ Translate customer requirements into detailed specifications
+ Conduct feasibility studies to assess project viability
+ Write technical proposals & specifications for new development projects
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Key Requirements:
+ Background in special purpose machinery, automation, or capital equipment
+ Proven experience in taking a product from conceptual stage to production
+ 3D CAD design (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor)
+ Produce manufacturing drawings
+ Strong knowledge of fabrication, machining, and assembly techniques
+ Hands-on and practical approach to engineering
