An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to join a fast-growing technology company developing innovative special purpose machinery. The business is moving rapidly from R&D and pilot phases into full industrial deployment, delivering complex equipment for a variety of technical applications.

This role offers the chance to work across the full development life cycle, from early-stage concept and experimentation through to prototype build, scale-up and production implementation. It is ideal for a proactive engineer who enjoys hands-on development, technical problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment where innovation and practical engineering go hand in hand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development projects from concept through to scale-up
• Develop solutions to support complex manufacturing processes and equipment
• Build and test prototypes
• 3D CAD design
• Identify emerging technologies, innovations and external developments
• Ensure designs are optimised for manufacture and assembly

Skills & Experience Required:

• 2+ years’ experience in a product development environment
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Background in special purpose machinery design
• Strong 3D CAD skills
• Hands-on experience with workshop tools, prototyping or 3D printing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
