Plant Manager - Renewables

Plant Manager – Competitive Salary (With Equity) – Southern Virginia/North Carolina – Renewable Energy Start-up

My client is an innovative, well-backed start-up developing a unique method of converting waste into renewable energy. They’re opening a pilot plant this year and will need a plant manager to oversee and expand operations.

Main Duties:

+ Direct daily plant operations and ensure compliance with targets, safety & quality

+ Regulatory compliance

+ Management and leadership – including training, developing and hiring

+ Process development and optimization

+ Budgeting & reporting

+ Oversight of equipment maintenance

Skills and experience required:

+ Degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering preferable, significant experience considered

+ Experience in a plant management role

+ Experience with thermal conversion technologies
