Process Engineer - Manufacturing

A manufacturing business specialising in rubber moulded components is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, document, and optimise production processes across moulding and assembly operations. This is a hands-on role supporting new product introduction and ongoing production improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and document manufacturing processes for injection, compression, and transfer moulding

• Define robust process parameters and process flows for new product introduction

• Support tooling development in collaboration with internal and external teams

• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions

• Support and train production operators on new or updated processes

• Manage process-related projects and ensure delivery against quality and timing requirements

• Ensure processes meet safety, quality, and performance standards

Requirements

• Experience with rubber moulding processes (injection, compression, or transfer)

• Hands-on, practical approach to manufacturing problem-solving

• Ability to interpret and control key quality characteristics of moulded components

• Comfortable working in a production environment and cross-functional teams

Desirable

• Background in plastics or injection moulding

• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments

• Strong communication and analytical skills
