  • Take ownership of smaller projects (e.g. accessories and product upgrades) from concept to production

  • Create high-quality renders to support internal design reviews and approvals

  • Support manufacturing partners during handover, applying DFM principles

  • Design, build, and test mechanical prototypes to validate concepts and mechanisms

Requirements

  • Degree in Product Design, Design Engineering, Industrial Design, or similar

  • 3+ years’ experience developing consumer or physical products

  • Strong CAD skills (e.g. SolidWorks, Rhino) and experience producing manufacturing drawings

  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and materials

  • Detail-focused, with a practical, problem-solving mindset

  • Able to communicate technical issues clearly within a multidisciplinary team

What’s Offered

  • Competitive salary (£30k–£45k depending on experience)

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays

  • Private healthcare and pension

  • Staff discount

  • Office-based role with some flexibility for hybrid working (Southampton area)
