Location: Cambridgeshire
Salary: £50K–£65K

A growing technology team based in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Product Owner to support the development of innovative communication solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on AWS and Windows-based applications, contributing to complex software products used by clients across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and manage the product backlog for one or more SCRUM teams.

Represent product requirements during Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Project Managers to prioritise work and resolve issues.

Define detailed functionality and user stories, working with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders.

Document product features and disseminate information across departments.

Support roadmap planning and feature prioritisation.

Act as a product expert to assist teams in understanding dependencies and functionality.

Ideal Candidate:

Strong technical background with experience in software tools and application development.

Clear communicator who can tailor messaging to varied audiences.

Critical thinker with good time management and problem-solving skills.

Able to evaluate trade-offs between functionality and development effort.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Experience with AWS/Azure, Windows, Linux

Proficiency in Java, C#, C, or C++

Familiarity with APIs, virtualisation, cloud environments, and Agile workflows

Requirements gathering, use case definition, and writing functional specifications

Desirable: exposure to Android, Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi, GPS technologies

Additional Info:

Occasional travel may be required; a full driving licence and access to a car is desirable.

Candidates must be eligible for SC security clearance.
