Production Technician
Location: Paulerspury, Northamptonshire (Onsite)
Salary: £27,000–£30,000

My client, a specialist manufacturer of precision measurement instrumentation, is looking for a Production Technician to join its growing production team. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to work on high-precision electronic products while developing new technical skills within a collaborative engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assemble mechanical and electronic components to a high standard
• Carry out soldering and precision production work
• Maintain accurate production records and test documentation
• Prepare products for packing and dispatch
• Use hand tools and production equipment safely and effectively
• Collaborate with colleagues throughout the manufacturing process
• Support continuous improvement across production activities
Requirements
• Previous production, assembly, or manufacturing experience
• Soldering experience or a willingness to learn
• Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused approach
• Good computer skills, including basic Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable carrying out repetitive, precision-based work
• Interest in electronics or engineering desirable
