Quality Assurance Manager – Space - £90k-£120k
This is an opportunity to join a global leader in satellite communication and space technology, working on next-generation mixed-signal integrated circuits for aerospace applications. You’ll play a key role in ensuring quality, traceability, and reliability across the full product lifecycle, supporting engineering teams and manufacturing partners around the world.

The Role
As Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll lead the development and execution of quality strategies for complex IC products used in mission-critical aerospace environments. You’ll define and maintain quality processes, manage audits, drive continuous improvement, and guide cross-disciplinary teams to ensure full compliance and robust documentation.

Key Responsibilities
• Own and maintain quality assurance processes and standards
• Lead and mentor QA engineers, ensuring quality objectives are met
• Ensure end-to-end traceability from design through manufacturing
• Conduct internal and external quality audits and assessments
• Work closely with engineering teams across design, verification, validation and packaging
• Partner with suppliers and manufacturing partners to enforce quality requirements
• Investigate product issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions
• Support certification and customer reviews with thorough documentation
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability

What We’re Looking For
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or similar
• Experience in Quality Assurance for integrated circuits (mixed-signal ideal)
• Strong understanding of VLSI design and manufacturing flows
• Familiarity with aerospace quality and traceability standards
• Skilled in documentation control, configuration management, and audit procedures
• Strong communication and leadership abilities

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: £90,000 – £120,000 (experience dependent)
