- Reverse-engineer and improve existing designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Design and prototype analog and RF circuits; perform PCB layout, schematic capture, and component selection.
- Conduct thermal analysis and impedance matching across a range of power and frequency levels.
- Utilize simulation tools for circuit analysis and performance modeling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- BSEE or MSEE from an accredited institution.
- 10+ years of relevant hands-on RF engineering experience.
- Deep experience with RF and analog circuit design, particularly in systems operating up to 50kW and 200MHz.
- Familiarity with magnetrons, microwave generators, and associated waveguide systems.
- Strong background in RF amplifier topologies (Class A–E), passive networks (filters, splitters, combiners), and impedance matching.
- Proficiency with tools like ADS or Genesys, Sonnet (2.5D), LTspice, or equivalent simulation software.
- Skilled with network/spectrum analyzers and RF diagnostic test equipment.
- Ability to work hands-on with mechanical tools and bench instruments.
