Embedded Software Engineer | Reading | £30-45k | Hybrid

My client is looking for an embedded software engineer to drive innovation across the full development pipeline from concept and prototyping to real-world deployment.

What You'll Do:

+ Develop and test embedded and high-level robot software (C++ & ROS2).

+ Collaborate on electronics design (schematic capture & PCB layout).

+ Write and debug embedded firmware for custom hardware.

+ Integrate software with real-time hardware systems on Linux-based platforms.

+ Support rapid prototyping and iterative development.

Skills required:

+ Strong C++ programming skills (modern standards preferred).

+ Solid understanding of electronics and embedded systems.

+ Experience with ROS2 and Linux-based development.

+ Comfortable debugging across hardware & software boundaries.
