Location: Witney, Oxfordshire (Onsite, with UK & Ireland travel)
Salary: £35,000–£45,000 + up to £11,000 commission
Type: Full-time, Permanent
My client, a well-established engineering manufacturer, is looking for a Sales Engineer to drive growth across the UK and Ireland. This is a customer-facing role combining technical expertise with business development, focused on expanding market share and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain a strong sales pipeline
• Grow and manage existing customer accounts
• Plan and execute regional sales activities and customer visits
• Engage with customers using both consultative and transactional sales approaches
• Collaborate with internal teams to support market coverage and lead generation
• Manage sales activity through calls, emails, and follow-ups
Requirements
• Proven B2B technical sales experience
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Technical aptitude or engineering background
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven
• Willingness to travel regularly across the UK & Ireland
• Full UK driving licence
