Senior Power Electronics Engineer – Bristol – £50-60k

My client is a dynamic and innovative engineering firm based in Bristol, specializing in cutting-edge power electronics solutions. As they expand their operations, they are currently seeking a talented and motivated Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join the team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•  Design and Development: Create and implement power electronic circuits and systems for various applications, ensuring efficiency and reliability/
• Testing and Validation: Be responsible for preparing appropriate test bench and test 2. Simulation
•  PCB schematics capture and layout of power circuits and signal circuits

Skills Required:

• Hardware design 
• Schematic and PCB layout 

• Experience designing power systems, including switch mode (buck, boost, flyback), thyristor, gallium nitride, silicone carbide or IGBT

• Experinece in charging technologies, battery management systems, power control, power conversion and power management

• Mentoring experience 

The salary range for this position is £50-60K.
