Service Technician
Location: Remote (Regional Field-Based)
Salary: £29,000–£34,000
Type: Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)
My client, a specialist provider of safety and evacuation solutions, is looking for a Service Technician to join their field service team. This role involves carrying out installations, preventative maintenance, and reactive servicing across customer sites while delivering a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out planned and reactive servicing on customer sites
• Install and maintain specialist safety equipment
• Complete digital service reports and documentation accurately
• Plan and manage service visits using company systems
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams
• Identify potential sales or replacement opportunities during site visits
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and customer site regulations
Requirements
• Previous experience in a field service or maintenance role
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing workload remotely
• Good IT skills, including tablets and Microsoft Outlook
• Experience completing service documentation and reports
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
