Location: Swavesey, Cambridgeshire (Hybrid working)
Salary: £30,000–£35,000

A growing technology and manufacturing business is seeking a Supply Chain & Sales Administrator to provide operational and administrative support across supply chain, production planning, and sales functions. This is a varied, hands-on role ensuring efficient order processing, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination between internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
The Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain & Production Planning Manager, you will support shipping, purchasing, stock control, and sales order administration while acting as a key point of contact for customer and supplier queries. The position requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain
• Prepare shipping documentation, invoices, and export paperwork
• Pick, pack, and dispatch products; liaise with couriers via online portals
• Raise purchase orders and related supply chain documentation
• Organise supplier quotes and monitor order status and delivery schedules
• Issue production paperwork, kitting documentation, and manage returns/shortages
• Support stocktaking, cycle counts, reconciliation, and reporting
• Provide cover for the Supply Chain Manager when required
Sales & General Administration
• Enter sales orders onto the ERP system and issue acknowledgements
• Advise customers on availability and shipping dates
• Process RMAs, credit notes, and loan stock administration
• Maintain sales order tracking and customer documentation
• Support weekly sales reporting and audit documentation
• Assist with customs clearance and courier invoice checks
• Act as a point of contact for customer order and delivery queries
• Handle incoming calls and general administrative support as required
Requirements
• Previous experience in an administrative role (supply chain, sales, or operations preferred)
• Experience with international shipping documentation
• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to learn ERP/order processing systems
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift boxes up to 20kg
• Experience working within ISO 9001 environments advantageous
