Location: Austin, TX (Full-time, On-site)
Salary: $90k–$110k + benefits
A leading aerospace and defense technology company is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the transition from rapid prototyping to full-rate manufacturing. This role requires strong leadership in supplier management, regulatory compliance, and inventory optimization to support complex, high-tech production.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop and execute supply chain strategies for prototyping, new product introduction, and production scale-up.
•    Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers to AS9100, ITAR, and other aerospace standards.
•    Oversee purchasing, negotiation, and supplier KPIs (quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness).
•    Partner with Engineering to ensure design for manufacturability.
•    Manage inventory planning, material staging, and kitting strategies.
•    Maintain ERP accuracy for costs, lead times, and supplier data.
•    Ensure compliance with aerospace and defense procurement requirements.
•    Identify and deliver cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain.

Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•    5+ years’ experience in aerospace, defense, or engineering industries.
•    Knowledge of DFARS, FAR, DPAS, ISO 9001, and AS9100 preferred.
•    ERP system experience.
•    Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
