Technical Operations Engineer | £40,000 - £50,000 | Cambridge

Our client is a radar engineering company with market-ready products and proprietary radar sensor designs. They are applying their technology to a variety of fast-growing sectors. They are now seeking a Technical Operations Engineer to support both their production team and international customers. The Role:

  • Providing technical support to customers on device integration, operation, and troubleshooting
  • Enhancing and automating production processes for efficiency and scalability
  • Maintaining and preparing our drone fleet for safe flight operations, with the opportunity to gain drone pilot certification
  • Feeding customer feedback and market insights into product development and strategy

Key Skills and Experience:

  • 1 year experience with Python and related tools for technical tasks and automation
  • Skilled in soldering, mechanical assembly, and hands-on system integration
  • Minimum 3 years of post-graduate work experience in the UK
  • Strong communication skills and able to convey technical details to engineers and clear summaries to customers
  • UK passport required; UK driving licence preferred

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified required. Engineering Degree: mechanical, electronic, air mobility systems or similar.
