Kent – Principal Electronics Engineer – 70-80k
This is a great opportunity to join one of our good clients in Kent that specialise in the production of safety equipment. They are looking to bring on an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to work in the R&D team, who has direct experience working on safety products, and ideally, specifically Fire Safety.
Main Duties:
+ Working in the R&D team you will be responsible for developing and testing new products as well as maintaining and enhancing the existing portfolio.
+ Work to EN54 fire safety regulations
+ Provide leadership for planning, analysing, designing, testing and documenting changes on new projects.
+ Work on both analog and digital designs at system and circuit level.
Skills:
+ Experience working in designing products within a regulated environment such as medical or military domains. Ideally working within the fire safety domain with EN-54 experience but this isn't essential
+ Strong experience within electronic design including schematic capture and PCB layout (using Altium)
+ Experience with mixed signal design, with an emphasis on low power, low voltage and low noise characteristics.
Further Information:
This role comes with hybrid working options, so for every 10 days, 5 would be from home. Depending on projects this could be less. This role does not come with visa sponsorship so you need to be eligible to work in the UK.
