Senior Manufacturing Engineer

​Senior Manufacturing Engineer - £50k-£60k – Cambridge – Electro-Mechanical
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a company that specialises in the design and manufacture of high-precision electro-mechanical systems. As part of the company’s expansion plan, they're looking to grow the engineering team with an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to drive the optimisation of production processes, upscale manufacturing assembly/test facilities and reduce costs.

Main Duties:
+ Develop and improve processes and product quality
+ Value Stream Mapping
+ Take ownership of all the engineering processes
+ Design and arrange build of tools, jigs & fixtures
+ Develop, monitor and improve production processes
+ Draft and ensure accurate implementation of ECRs
Experience Required:
+ Strong understanding of electronic manufacturing processes
+ Ability to read technical drawings
+ Background in electronic & mechanical assembly
+ Experience in mid to high-volume manufacturing
+ Previously implemented automated/semi-automated production lines
+ Strong written & verbal communication 

The salary will be between £50,000-£60,000 depending on experience. There is also a generous benefit package available.
